About Delrose Broderick

Secure Hands Solutions LLC was founded by Delrose Broderick, who worked as a nurse in various healthcare fields, including rehab facilities, long term care facilities, and hospitals. She also worked for a short period in homecare.

She decided to start her homecare agency when her grandmother became sick and had to be placed in a facility due to the unavailability of family members to care for her at home. She knew in her heart that her Grandmother’s wish was to be cared for in the comfort of her home.

With Secure hands solutions, the services we will provide will help individuals get the quality of care they need while maintaining their independence.

The goal is to maintain safety, comfort, and a healthy lifestyle at home.

We thrive by supporting and caring for seniors that can't maintain daily living activities due to illness or disabilities. We specialize specifically in seniors that can no longer support themselves with toileting, feeding, and other daily activities.

Mother's Day weekend of 2017 I went to Saint Francis Hospital to have a thyroidectomy; everything went well until after the surgery, when I began to have respiratory issues. I was unable to be extubated. I was placed in the ICU for a few days but was unable to maintain normal oxygen levels. The medical team determined that I needed a tracheostomy. Due to the need for a tracheostomy, I needed extended care at a rehab facility. I was feeling scared and anxious because I would prefer to be in the comfort of my home. I was lucky enough to have a daughter-in-law who has been a nurse for 12 years who was willing to take me home and care for me while she cared for her family and had a full-time job. The care I got from her was unremarkable. I was able to fully recover without infection by July of that year.
